It's the first wedding of the year and I was super excited for it! The first out of 4 weddings I have and I'm standing up in 3 of them! We had to turn down 2 weddings already... because of the craziness. At first when trying on this dress, I thought it looked a little childish but when we were on the beach and Maggie was saying "I do" the dress looked beautiful in picture. She had a vision and I'm glad she stuck to it! At the end of the night though.. this dress needed to be off that's for sure! During ceremony everything was fine.. they said their I dos and they popped champagne and right after we all got our glasses it started to rain and then started to downpour. A little good luck just for them! How crazy is that? Congrats on the wedding you two! 

April Luxe Box 2012

Hey Friends!

Just got my April Luxe box in! It made it on the last day of April.... I was excited waiting for this box because I wrote to Luxe Box last month about a mistake I had in my March box. I signed up for the first in line program and when I had to choose a product.. I picked the Cargo Glitter Top Coat. I was really excited for the product and never got it.. so I just sent a little e-mail saying I was a little disappointed that I never got it in my box and so they sent me an e-mail back saying that they couldn't make up for the glitter top coat because they didn't have anymore but they would send me 2 bonus Cargo products! I was soo happy with that.... then my Luxe box came......

This is what was in my box:

So... I got

1) Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner- I've been hearing good things about how Pantene has come around and are now making pretty good products. I have never used Pantene in a very long time. Maybe when I was really little but I have not purchased any items from them in a long time.

2) Biosilk Leave-In Treatment- Anytime I hear of a really good leave-in conditioner I always have to try it out. This will be my first time trying this product and looking forward to it. I use leave-in conditioners every time I wash my hair! Got to keep my blonde hair looking and feeling healthy!

3) Mereadesso Beautiful Body Balm- Another product I have not tried... I really like the scent of this product. The full size product is a little pricey. I hope I don't fall in love with it.. or else its gonna break the bank.

4) Cargo Triple Action Mascara- Now I have tried the Lash Activator from Cargo from my Feb Luxe box and loved it... I am happy to try out another product from them. Seems like the formula will do wonders for my eye lashes yet again.

Now.. if you were me.. wouldn't you think I was going to receive 6 products total this month since I was supposed to get 2 bonus products? That's what I was thinking. Oh well.. there's always next month and I wrote another e-mail stating another mistake :(
I like how Loose Button also included a little daffodil pin for the Canadian Cancer Society... I like little touches like that!

Good Morning!
I have my Doughnut Shop Keurig coffee brewing and a couple vanilla oreo cookies ready for me to start my day. In this outfit post we went into Playa Del Carmen to do a little shopping and find a authentic Mexican restaurant. We asked one of our Apple Vacations reps to guide us in the right direction and we found a cute one that had 2 floors over looking the streets of playa. Yes I know.. I kinda look like a hot mess but I did come from right off the beach.. grabbed my sea salt spray for my hair and off we went. For dinner I had shrimp enchiladas and my boyfriend had chicken and veggies wrapped in a banana leaf... kinda wished I got his.... why do I always wish I got what he's having? It always ends up that way...

Hello! I know 2 posts in 2 days... what's up with that? Just a little outfit post.. this is a pic of me getting ready to go out for dinner. The hotel we stayed at in the Riviera Maya was The Grand Palladium. It was huge.. there were 4 hotel sections in one big resort.. a little bit too big for me.. but whatev. I bought this dress last year at Target.. I love the sweetheart top and the pattern of the floral print on the dress. What can I say I'm a sucker for prints.. and esp floral. What kind of prints are you always lusting over? 

Oh.. and don't you just love the purple bracelet they make you wear? :P

Hey everyone!
I'm back from sunny Mexico and actually remembered to take a couple outfit posts while I was there.
I have been to Mexico 8 times and this was my 5th time going to the Riviera Maya. My friend Maggie was getting married and I was one of her bridesmaids. Before I went to Mexico I stopped by my nearest F21 (states side) and bought this little number for the trip. Sometimes I go into F21 and love everything I see and other times I don't.. this dress wasn't love at first sight but my friend Alana told me I had to get it! I'm glad I did because it was super cute! I'm already starting to peel a little bit but I'm slathering myself up with tons of lotion. I always peel after I tan even tho I put on SPF 30. After this trip I have decided I am officially over Mexico. It's time to see what the rest of the world has in store for us. We are already thinking Europe for next year. Thinking about one of those Contiki trips.. have you been on one?

March Luxe Box 2012

Happy March to you all! This just in... my March Luxe Box by Loose Button! I was the last one to get my box out of all my friends.. but that was just a couple days off from everyone else. As you can imagine... I was getting a little stir crazy waiting for it.. I think this will be a reoccurring thing with me. This month the Luxe Box went back to its original colour and that is black.. soo nothing crazy special. They are celebrating their 1 year anniversary and as a gift to us they gave us a wildflower seed card... I thought that was such a great idea! Also in the box there was a $1 coupon off of the J.R Watkins lotion if you buy it at shoppers.
The products I received......

1) Redken Colour Extend Shampoo and Conditioner- I think I have tried this long time ago but these samples say that there is a new Fade Resist complex...so I'm excited to try this. My hair is colour-treated and I like to try new shampoos all the time so these will go to good use.

2) OPI Rapi Dry Top Coat- I'm interested in how this top coat is going to wear.. I'm obsessed with my Seche Vite Top coat and I don't know how this will compare. The only complaint I have is how small the sample is :(

3) J.R. Watkins Hand and Body Lotion in Lavender- I am in LOVE with the smell of this product. It is a little strong but I like my lotions like that. I'm excited to see if this lotion is nourishing enough for me to go out and buy the full size. 

4) Cargo Eyeshadow- They had the first in line program this month where you can reserve a special product to go into your box for the month. I reserved the glitter top coat by Cargo... and I did not get that. Kinda disappointing not to get what you reserved but whatever. The eyeshadow is a light pink and brown duo.. which will be fun to try.

I have never tried any of these products before so it was be fun testing everything out. I do think this box is a little step up from what I got in my Feb Luxe Box. If you are subscribed to Luxe Box.. please let me know what you got and if your not subscribed and want to be....here is the link!

Wedding Shower Attire Part 2

Today is the second wedding shower of the year and I'm soo excited for it. Some people might say that wedding showers are boring.. but I actually kinda enjoy them. Maybe its because I'm not married yet but I just love all the cute little details and ideas people come up with for their own shower. For this wedding shower they have asked that we come with our gifts bare with no wrapping paper. I thought that was a cute idea... wasting less paper is better... also spending less time unwrapping all the gifts and more time with your guests! The dress I'm wearing today is the famous Mompos Dress from Anthropologie. I saw it for the first time on Quinn from glee and told myself... must...get...dress... and here it is! It's a dress that anyone could look and feel beautiful in. I did hold out and bought it when it went on sale... I mostly do this with a lot of Anthropologie items. Call me cheap but I like to get a good deal.. and kinda justifies my purchase at the exact same time! My question to you is... do you enjoy wedding showers..or do you find them boring???
